I have had constant issues with my upstairs bedrooms always reading 5-7 degrees higher than the rest of my house...and of course the basement was the coldest. I had powerzoning installed last year after my daughter was born and yes, at first I didn't see a large difference in my energy bill but that's also because last year was a more mild summer. This year I have already noticed a 20% decrease in what I am paying. So at this point it may not be a 30% discount but it DOES work and I am saving money in the long run, which I like to see. Also now I don't have to run ceiling fans (which cost to run) b/c the upstairs is within a couple of degrees as the rest of the house.
