Still totally happy with my Fiskars mower. The only time the sides will impact the width listed in the specs is if you’re mowing up against a wall. Even in that situation it’s not like the amount that sticks out on the side is going to have a significant impact on the time you spend mowing. Seems to be a pretty trivial complaint in my opinion. And yes, it was definitely worth the price!

Absolutely beautiful home. I have always wanted to have a place for hanging pots above my stove. Its convenient, saves space, but most of all it is awesome looking! I will definitely be stealing some ideas from this kitchen for my upcoming kitchen remodel! Thanks for sharing.

Are you still liking your Fiskars?

I’ve been doing some reading/research and one complaint from people was that because of the sides, it didn’t seem to cut as wide as it says?? Did you find that at all?

Do you think its worth the extra price tag?

Not sure what you meant by “grey water system”, perhaps this is what you meant, but I wanted to suggest using a constructed wetland in leiu of a septic system. Another suggestion is a windmill-power generation system. There are many different designs of relatively easy DIY wind systems on instructables.com – I look forward to your thoughts!

Hydraulic fracturing for natural gas production uses TREMENDOUS amounts of fresh water, that is combined with proprietary chemical mixes and unfit for any other uses afterward. I’m sure there are many other aspects of modern life where this also is true – water is treated as a one-time use resource. Additionally, most of the fresh water on Earth is frozen. We have a small amount available to us and we do not use it wisely.
